Sangan Steel increases pellet output
Sangan Steel Company saw iron ore pellet output surge 65% on-year in the first quarter of the Iranian year, or three months through 20 June, to 1.11 million tonnes. This was achieved despite the Covid-19 pandemic and power outages, the Mobarakeh Steel subsidiary says.
Due to frequent power outages in July, pellet output did not go according to plan and production was practically stopped, the pellet maker adds.
