Sandvik completes offload of stainless wire business
Swedish high-integrity materials supplier Sandvik has completed the previously-announced divestment of its stainless wire business, it says in a brief statement.
The divestment was first signalled in May last year (see Kallanish 29 May 2017) and a deal with Germany’s Zapp group was struck at the beginning of June 2018. The German company is a family-owned leading supplier of advanced metal products, Sandvik says.
