Sandvik acquires India's Miranda Tools
Dormer Pramet, a division within Sandvik Machining Solutions, has reached an agreement to acquire the entire business of Indian company Miranda Tools, Kallanish learns from the Sweden-based company.
Miranda Tools was established in 1945 and belongs to business conglomerate Ashok Piramal Group. It makes high-speed steel and solid carbide round tools, manufacturing products such as HSS tool bits, hand hacksaws, power saws, metal cutting band saw blades, and others.
