Samarco receives operating license for iron ore pipelines
Brazilian iron ore miner and pellet producer Samarco has received an operating license from the Brazilian Institute for Environment and Renewable Natural Resources (Ibama) for its three iron ore slurry pipelines, Kallanish notes. The lines are set to transport the mined material form the Complexo de Germano in Minas Gerais to the Ubu production and port unit located in Espiritu Santo, when the company resumes operations.
