Salzgitter starts building wind park
Construction of the seven turbines comprising “Windpark Salzgitter” has now officially started, Kallanish learns from the company. Three will be erected on the site of the integrated strip mill Salzgitter Flachstahl, with four more on the surrounding group premises.
The developer and operator of the park is Avacon Natur GmbH. The hubs of the turbines, built by Vestas, will reach a height of 169 metres. They will have an overall output of around 30 MW. …
