Salzgitter lifts sections price, returns to profit
Salzgitter AG has announced that subsidiary Peiner Träger GmbH, its sections and beams mill in Peine, is raising prices for orders from February 2016 onward by €15/tonne ($16.4/t). The company cites stable demand and a high level of capacity utilisation in recent months, on contracts emanating from core European markets, as well as from other export destinations, it tells Kallanish.
