Salzgitter inks Salcos steel deal with automotive supplier
Salzgitter AG has announced another supply deal for the reduced-carbon steel it will be producing within its SALCOS (Salzgitter Low CO2 Steelmaking) campaign.
The steelmaker’s strip unit, Salzgitter Flachstahl, has signed a memorandum of understanding to that purpose with automotive industry supplier Wagon Automotive Nagold GmbH. Based in the German state of Baden-Württemberg, Wagon Automotive will in future use CO2-reduced steel produced on the SALCOS …
