SAIL targets 20% increase in production/sales in 2016/17
State-owned Steel Authority of India (SAIL) is targeting a significant increase in its production and sales in its 2016-2017 financial year. It is also looking to take a significant role in promoting increased steel consumption in conjunction with initiatives by the Government of India, the steelmaker’s chairman Shri PK Singh said. He was speaking at the steelmaker’s 44th annual general meeting in New Delhi on 21 September, monitored by Kallanish.
