Saarstahl steps back from generating its own electricity
Germany’s Saarstahl AG (SAG) and Saarschmiede GmbH Freiformschmiede (SSF) have decided to cease their involvement in generating their own electricity. The companies will terminate their leasing and operating management contracts for Block 3 at the Ensdorf power station as from 31 December 2017. The power plant itself will then be decommissioned.
