Saarstahl orders billet caster from SMS
Saarstahl has ordered a five-strand billet caster for its steel plant in Völklingen, Germany, from SMS Concast. The new casting plant is being designed for an annual capacity of 850,000 tonnes of billets. Start-up is planned for the third quarter of 2019.
