Saarland’s Rogesa gets new dedusting system
Saarland mills Saarstahl and Dillinger have invested €28 million ($33m) in the new dedusting system for the circular cooler of their joint pig iron plant, Rogesa.
The system at sinter plant 3 features an integrated heat recovery system which generates an additional energy benefit of 82,000 MWh, which equals a carbon emissions reduction of 25,000 tonnes/year.
