Russia’s steel, pipe output rebound in October
Russia increased steel production in October, according to data from domestic analytical company Chermet.
The country’s steelmakers produced 6.52 million tonnes of crude steel and 5.66mt of rolled products, up 13.2% on-year and 12.3% on-year, respectively, Kallanish notes.
In January-October, steel production increased by 5.7% to 63.5mt and rolled metal by 5.2% to 54.9mt.
