Russian consumption to inch up in 2023: BCS
Russia’s steel consumption in 2023 will grow by at least 2% on-year, Russia's largest independent private financial group, BCS, said in a review following a teleconference with MMK management.
In the first four months of the year, consumption in the country was up by 4.5% on-year, the review summarises. Part of the demand for domestic players was freed up by the withdrawal of imports from the Russian Federation last year, it claims.
