Russia’s stainless steel output increases in January
Russian production of stainless steel increased in January to 23,800 tonnes, up by 37.1% on-year, but was down 4.4% on-month, according to national statistical service Rosstat data monitored by Kallanish.
In December alone, output amounted to 24,900t, up by 18.3% on-year and 13.4% compared to the previous month (see Kallanish passim).
In 2022, Russian production of stainless steel increased to 260,000t, up by 17.6% on-year.
