Russia’s stainless steel imports rebound in September
Russia increased imports of stainless steel in September, according to national special steel association USSA. Imports amounted to 25,670 tonnes, up by 7.7% compared with the previous month but down -26.2% on-year, Kallanish notes.
In August these imports were 17,900t, down by -29.9% compared with July (see Kallanish passim).
September imports of stainless cold rolled flat products increased by 12.6% on-month to 14,880t but hot rolled flats fell by -3% to 4,680t…
