Russia's IMH inaugurates new coking coal capacity
Industrial Metallurgical Holding (IMH) has officially inaugurated its Tikhova mine and the second phase of the Butovskaya mine, both located in the Kemerovo region, Kallanish learns from the Russian pig iron exporter. The firm has thus become self-sufficient in coking coal supply.
Tikhova, which has a 1.8 million tonnes/year capacity of coking coal, is expected to produce 1mt in 2017. Investment in the mine amounted to RUB 12.5 billion ($207.96 million). Th…
