Russia's Gazpromtrubinvest commissions new welded pipe mill
Gazpromtrubinvest has commissioned a 300,000 tonnes/year 16-inch high frequency welded pipe mill supplied by SMS, Kallanish learns from the German technology provider.
The new mill produces pipes with an outside diameter of 127-426mm and a maximum wall thickness of 15mm. The pipe will be used as casing pipe in oil and gas exploration. The new line enables Gazpromtrubinvest to produce high-grade casing pipes from API 5CT up to N80.
