Volkswagen’s former Russia plant assembles Chinese cars: reports
Volkswagen’s former Russia plant in Kaluga, which now belongs to the Russian company Avilon, has started the assembly of the Chinese automotive brand Chery, according to Russian media reports.
The company plans to produce a limited edition of Tiggo 7 PRO Max crossovers cars. Specialists from the Chinese company arrived in Kaluga to supervise the production process, according to the Autopotok Telegram channel.
