Russia’s ferrous imports increase in November
Russian ferrous imports increased in January-November 2021, according to customs data monitored by Kallanish.
Imports of ferrous products under HS code chapter 72 were 5.1 million tonnes, up by 7.9% on-year. In November alone imports reached 490,400 tonnes, up by 26.8% compared with October.
In the first 11 months of the year, imports of ferrous products under chapter 72 but excluding cast iron, ferroalloys, waste and scrap amounted to 4.5mt, less by 1.1% on-year…
