Russia’s ferrous imports fall further in August
Russian ferrous imports increased in January-August, according to the country’s customs data monitored by Kallanish.
Imports of ferrous products under HS code chapter 72 were 3.8 million tonnes, up by 10% on-year. However, in August alone imports reached 429,300 tonnes, down by 18.4% compared with July.
