Russia’s ferrous exports follow import rise
Russian ferrous exports increased in January-August, according to national customs data monitored by Kallanish.
Shipments of ferrous products under HS code chapter 72 were almost 30.6 million tonnes, up by 15.3% on-year.
Exports of ferrous products under chapter 72 but excluding pig iron, ferroalloys, waste and scrap amounted to 21.6mt over the eight months, up 16.2% on-year.
