Russia’s ferrous exports follow import rise
Russian ferrous exports increased in January-July, according to national customs data monitored by Kallanish.
Shipments of ferrous products under HS code chapter 72 were almost 28 million tonnes, up by 18.3% on-year.
Exports of ferrous products under chapter 72 but excluding pig iron, ferroalloys, waste and scrap amounted to 19.5mt over the seven months, up 17.5% on-year.
