Russia’s ferrous exports fell in January amid duties
Russian ferrous exports decreased in January, according to national customs data monitored by Kallanish.
Shipments abroad of ferrous products under HS code chapter 72 were almost 3 million tonnes, down by 20.2% on-year.
Exports of ferrous products under chapter 72 but excluding pig iron, ferroalloys, waste and scrap amounted to almost 2.6mt in the first month of the year, down 33%.
