Russia's ferrous exports fall despite flats growth
Russian ferrous products exports decreased in January-July, according to the country’s federal customs data monitored by Kallanish.
Seven-month exports of ferrous products under HS code 72 were 23.655 million tonnes, down by -5.1% on-year.
Exports of ferrous products under HS code 72 but excluding pig iron, ferroalloys, waste and scrap amounted to 16.2mt, down by -0.6% on-year. This suggests exports of steel decreased less than those of raw materials.
