Russia’s ferrous exports continue to increase
Russian ferrous exports increased in January-September, according to national customs data monitored by Kallanish.
Shipments of ferrous products under HS code chapter 72 were almost 34.4 million tonnes, up by 14.4% on-year. In January-August they were almost 30.6mt, up by 15.3% on-year (see Kallanish passim).
Exports of ferrous products under chapter 72 but excluding pig iron, ferroalloys, waste and scrap amounted to 24.4mt over the nine months, up 18.2% on-year.…
