Russia’s Far Eastern plate mill signs constriction contract
The Far East Development Corporation (KRDV) and the Primorsky Metallurgical Plant (PMP) have signed an agreement for the construction of the new PMP steelworks in Russia’s Far East.
The plant will produce 1.5 million tonnes/year of heavy plate and 250,000 t/y of large-diameter pipe (LDP), Kallanish notes. Total investment will amount to more than RUB 158 billion ($2.16 billion).
