Russian EAF mills establish association
The Association of Electrometallurgical Enterprises (AEMP) has been established in Russia. This includes the leading Russian electric arc furnace mills: Amurstal, Ashinsky Metallurgical Plant, Abinsky Electrometallurgical Plant (AEMZ) and MZ Balakovo. The last two are part of the Novostal-M metallurgical holding.
