Russia’s automotive strategy focuses on components, domestic market
The strategy for developing Russia’s automotive industry until 2035 was approved by the government at the end of December, says Russia’s industry and trade minister Denis Manturov.
According to the document, 2023-2025 will see up to RUB 300 billion ($4.3 billion) of the federal budget allocated for a comprehensive programme to accelerate the localisation of critical components, Kallanish notes.
