Russian automotive production plummets in January-June amid sanctions
Carmakers in Russia continued to decrease output in January-June, according to national statistical service Rosstat.
Only 281,000 passenger cars rolled off Russian assembly lines, down by 61.8% on-year, Kallanish notes. In June alone, almost 13,000 units were produced, down 89% on-year.
