Russia’s A-Property plans new export-oriented steelworks: report
The owners of Russia’s A-Property are evaluating building a metallurgical plant and coking plant in Russia’s Far East, according to Russian newspaper Kommersant.
The resource base for the plants will be iron ore deposits in the Khabarovsk Territory, as well as the Elga coal deposit. The steel produced will have a competitive advantage in that it will have a short transport link to Asian markets, the paper reports.
