Russian steel exports slump in July
Russian exports of semi-finished products declined -2% on-year in July to 1.33 million tonnes, according to Russian Customs data monitored by Kallanish.
Exports of carbon steel hot rolled, cold rolled and coated flat products, fell -13% to 650,100t.
Exports of pig iron dropped -56.4% to 354,800t and shipments abroad of ferroalloys fell -28.4% to 72,600t. Russian exports of iron ore and concentrates slumped -31.3% in July to 1.21mt.
