Russian stainless output rebounds in August
Russia’s production of stainless steel increased in August, show national statistical service Rosstat data monitored by Kallanish.
Output amounted to 18,200 tonnes, up by 19.3% on-year and 9.8% on-month. Production of stainless steel in January-August also increased by 4.4% on-year to 90,160t.
The production of stainless steel decreased in July to 16,500t, down by -2.8% on-year and -13.4% on-month (see Kallanish passim).
