Russian rail stock operator to build steel complex
Russia’s Novotrans will build a large production facility for steel wheels for freight cars, the company confirms to Kallanish.
The project includes a coal mine, 100MW thermal power plant, and a steel complex. The goal is to have a production of 400,000 units/year. Total investment is RUB 30 billion ($412.8 million). Novotrans expects to complete the project in the Prokopyevsky city district of Kuzbass in a period of 4-6 years.
