Russia’s Novostal-M increases 2021 output, eyes modernisation
Russia’s Novostal-M metallurgical holding increased production in 2021, Kallanish notes.
The Abinsky Electrometallurgical Plant (AEMZ) subsidiary produced 1.6 million tonnes/year of steel, up by 13% on-year. The other enterprise, MZ Balakovo, exceeded the mark of 1m t/y, more by 25%.
Both producers’ ranges have been replenished with a number of new products and the geography of supplies has also expanded, the holding says.
