Russian mills raise coil offer prices to Turkey
Turkish coil import prices have increased last week on higher Russia-origin asking prices, despite the fall in demand before the current holiday week, market participants tell Kallanish.
Hot- and cold-rolled coil offers from Russia have risen some $10-15/tonne on-week to $590-595/t for HRC and $630-640/t for CRC last week, both cfr Turkey, December delivery.
Demand, however, was weak as buyers have preferred to defer bookings for after the Eid al-Adha holiday…
