Russian stainless imports grow 28% in January-July
Russian stainless steel imports from January to July increased by 28.2% on-year to 156,308 tonnes, according to stainless steel association Spetsstal data seen by Kallanish.
Imports of hot rolled stainless steel flat products with a width over 600mm increased by 70.7% to 27,552t, imports of coil rose 29.5% to 3,171t and those of sheet/plate grew 78.1% to 24,381t.
