Russian ferrous imports fall over January-April
Russian ferrous product imports decreased over the January-April timeframe, according to the country’s federal customs data monitored by Kallanish.
Four-month imports of ferrous products under HS code 72 were 1.693 million tonnes, down by -24% on-year.
Imports of ferrous products under HS code 72 but excluding cast iron, ferroalloys, waste and scrap amounted to 1.412mt in January-April, down by -20.3% on-year.
