Russian court lifts Volkswagen asset seizure
Russia’s Arbitration Court of the Nizhny Novgorod region has partially lifted the seizure of Volkswagen (VW) assets, including the plant in Kaluga.
The assets were seized in March amid a lawsuit brought by GAZ Group, which demanded to recover RUB 15.6 billion ($192.5 million) of losses and cancel the termination of the agreement on contract assembly of Skoda and Volkswagen cars at GAZ.
