Russian carmakers reduce output due to low demand
Carmakers in Russia reduced output in the first quarter as consumer demand for new cars remained low, shows data from analytical company ASM.
In January-March the enterprises produced 356,842 cars, trucks and buses, down by -14.8% on-year, Kallanish notes. According to the report, the share of foreign cars in the output of all passenger cars in Russia amounted to 73.2%.
