Russia's June car output drops, recovers from May
Carmakers in Russia continued to reduce production in January-June due to low demand, show national statistical service Rosstat data.
About 510,000 passenger cars were produced during the first six months of the year, down by -34.9% on-year, Kallanish notes.
In June alone almost 104,000 cars were assembled, less by -24.1% on-year. In May output was about 53,000 passenger cars, down by -54.4% on-year (see Kallanish passim).
