Russia cements stainless competence centre capacity, schedule
Russia’s competence centre for stainless steel production in the Volgograd region will have a 500,000 tonnes/year capacity of hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel from stainless, corrosion-resistant steel grades and alloys. Commissioning is planned for 2026 and it will fully meet the needs of the Russian market, says the Russian government press service.
