Russia to develop steel cluster at Balakovo
Russian authorities want to launch new capacities for the production of semi-finished steel products and rolled metal at the site of the MZ Balakovo steelworks, part of Novostal-M metallurgical holding, says the Saratov regional government.
“On the basis of the Balakovo enterprise, it is planned to create a production facility for the production of steel billets and hot-rolled sections and shapes,” the government claims.
