Russia starts Far Eastern plate mill construction
Russian state oil company Rosneft, which leads the consortium of investors that is creating the Zvezda shipyard, has begun the practical implementation of a project to build the Primorsky Metallurgical Plant (PMZ) in Russia’s Far East, Kallanish notes.
The facility will be located on the Sukhodol Bay, 5km from the town of Bolshoy Kamen, in the immediate vicinity of the shipyard. The launch of production is planned for the first quarter of 2025. Total in…
