Russia, Slovakia supply lifts Polish HR flats imports
Polish hot rolled flat product imports increased 4% on-year in July to 215,827 tonnes, according to data from Poland’s Central Statistical Office (GUS) monitored by Kallanish.
The most-imported product was unpickled HR wide strip under 3mm thick whose intake totalled 40,594t. Russia and Slovakia supplied 23,343t and 7,930t respectively, up 33% and up 25% respectively.
