Russia ramps up stainless steel production in March
Russia’s production of stainless steel increased in March, show national statistical service Rosstat data monitored by Kallanish.
Output amounted to 19,200 tonnes, up 16.5% on-year and 12.6% more than in February. Production in the first quarter increased 12.9% on-year.
In February stainless steel production was 17,200t, up 4.6% compared to January and 14.3% more than in February 2019 (see Kallanish passim).
