Russia posts record stainless steel imports in September
Russian imports of stainless steel products increased 10.2% on-month in September to 28,884 tonnes, according to Russian stainless association Spetsstal, which adds this was a record on-month growth.
The previous record growth was 7.6% on-month, set last June.
For the first nine months of 2016 Russian imports of stainless steel products increased by 26.4% on-year to 211,323t, according to Spetsstal data obtained by Kallanish.
