Russia reduces ferrous imports again in October
Russian ferrous product imports decreased over January-October, according to the country’s federal customs data monitored by Kallanish.
Ten-month imports of ferrous products under HS code heading 72 were 4.3 million tonnes, down by -29.7% on-year.
In October alone imports decreased by -2.5% compared with the previous month to 440,000 tonnes. In September imports were down -2.8% compared with July to 451,000t.
