Russia leads Turkey's November billet imports decline
Turkey's billet imports decreased in November, mainly on the back of a drop in supplies from Russia, Kallanish notes from the latest Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.
Billet imports stood at 143,216 tonnes in November, down -39.3% on-year and -8.4% on-month. The overall average value/tonne of these imports increased to $553/t from $357/t a year ago.
