Russia increases stainless steel consumption over January-September
From January to September, consumption of the main stainless steel products in Russia increased by 18.8% to 291,200 tonnes year-on-year, Kallanish learns from Russian special steel association Spetsstal.
Stainless steel flat products’ consumption increased by 26.7%, long products by 7.3%, wire by 12.0% and that for welded pipes grew by 17.1%, Spetsstal confirms.
