Russia decreases semis, iron exports to EU: Eurostat

The EU reduced imports of steel products and raw materials from Russia in September compared to the previous month, show Eurostat data. Volumes amounted to 285,200 tonnes, down by 33.6% on-month, but were up 14.2% on-year, Kallanish notes. Revenue generated by these shipments decreased by 32.5% on-month and 11% on-year at $132 million.
